Closure of the Papendrecht Bridge

Between July 17, 2026, and April 21, 2027, the Papendrecht Bridge and the Baanhoek Bridge Bike Path will be closed to all road traffic.

The Papendrecht Bridge (N3) is an important link between Papendrecht and Dordrecht and the Drechtsteden transportation network. The movable section of the bridge is nearing the end of its technical service life and must be replaced.

During this closing event, it may be crowded aboard the Waterbus.

* Mopeds, scooters, cargo bikes, and bike trailers (attached to a bicycle) are allowed on board subject to availability
* Discounts are not available on board
* We operate according to our standard schedule (no extra departures)
