Tickets and Fares
With Waterbus, you can pay for your ride in several ways: via e-ticket in the online store, OVpay, OV-chipkaart, on board with the steward, or with a pass. Fares are adjusted annually and vary depending on age and ticket type.
Tickets
The water bus offers several types of tickets:
- E-ticket via the online store: order your ticket
- OVpay: Pay with a debit card or your phone; for more information, visit our website
- Public Transportation Chip Card: More information on our website
- On board with the flight attendant: only debit card payments are accepted
- Subscription to your personal public transit chip card: more information on our website
Rates
Every year on January 1, public transportation companies adjust their fares. Download the current 2026 fares below.
In addition, we offer various day passes:
- Children 4 years old and under travel for free
- The children's day pass (ages 4–11), which can be purchased on board and in the online store: €5.20 per child per day
- Standard day pass (ages 12–65): €16.10
- 65+ Day Pass: €11.65
With the OV-chipkaart, the discounted fare applies only to a personal OV-chipkaart. Without a valid ticket, you risk being fined.
