Waterbus accepts four different fare products

  • OV-chipkaart: Checking in at the most advantageous rate. For more information about this card go to www.waterbus.nl/ov-chipkaart.
  • E-ticket: Buying a ticket online is fast. You get one ticket for more than one person and you receive a 25% discount for groups of ten persons or more. Waterbus sells single and return tickets, day cards, combination tickets and family cards.
  • Tickets on board: Buy your ticket from the steward on board Waterbus. You can only pay cash. Ask the steward for information about which ticket suits your journey best.
  • Season tickets: One of the products on your personal OV-chipkaart. You get unlimited travel on a route of your choice. More information about this card you find on www.waterbus.nl/abonnement.

A Waterbus Day Card allows you unlimited travel from and to all the Waterbus stops. The price of a Waterbus Day Card is €13/€9,50 and can be bought on board, online and also at several retailers in the area. View where the Waterbus Day Card is sold.

Travellers from 4 to 11 and 65+ are entitled to a reduction. Children up to and including 3 travel free of charge. The reduction does not apply to line 18, 19 and 181. A reduction on an OV-chipkaart only applies to a personal one.

Tickets sold on board get the following reduction:

€6 → €4
€4 → €2
€2 → €2

People travelling without a valid ticket run the risk of being fined.
