Discovering Rotterdam by Waterbus

Visit the Euromast, the Erasmusbrug and the Markthal in just one day.

Discover the metropolis of Rotterdam by Waterbus!  After a number of stops in this famous port, you disembark right in the centre of Rotterdam.

When you walk down the Waterbus jetty into the direction of the Willemskade and you have your back turned to the Maas you can choose one of the three routes that are worthwhile.

1.Walk straight on to Leuvehaven and continue your way into the direction of the Maritime Museum. On your right hand side you pass the Havenmuseum where you can see antique cranes and ships. Continue to go straight and you will find yourself in the centre of Rotterdam, on the Coolsingel. You can shop to your heart's desire around and about the Beurstraverse,  nicknamed "the Koopgoot", and also in the Oude- and the Nieuwe Binnenweg and the Hoogstraat.

If you love culture, turn left into the Witte de Withstraat where the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. When you continue walking you pass the Westersingel and you arrive at the Museumkwartier where you  find Museum Boymans van Beuningen, the Nieuwe Instituut, Huis Sonneveld, the Chabotmuseum, the Kunsthal and the Natural history Museum.

When you continue on the road around de Veerhaven, you walk along the Maas over the Westerkade and the Parkkade to the Euromast and its neighbouring Park.

3. If you choose to go right from the Willemskade you will pass the Spido and the Erasmus bridge Continue your walk along the Maas to the Willemsbrug where on your left you see "the White house"  Europe’s first sky scrapert.
